Spectre is considered as a first consumer-oriented ultra book by HP. Although HP Folio 13 was launched as a first ultra book but it was not meant to target large business. Difference between these two ultra books is not much wider. The Envy 14 Spectre is all about shining and glare, most significantly by means of its glassy lid and palm rest. Without having any astonishing laptops, the spectre can be most elegant of collection. As far as its look is concerned, we have found it nicer and stylish device. Track pad was reactive nicely while moving the cursor on it, but the built-in mouse button was little painful for users. Unlike other 13-inch ultra books or laptops such as MacBook Air, the Envy Spectre is not light-weight. Sound beat is also coupled with an inset analog wheel to adjust volume control similar to that of HP Envy 15.

The $1,399 entry level HP Envy 14 Spectre design is attributed with an Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 128 GB SSD and 4 GB of RAM. HP Envy is incorporated with Blue tooth, WiDI, wireless Audio and NFC. Full core i7 processor can be upgraded for the cost of $ 2000 or more. HP Envy provides more spaces than that of other ultra books; but if you want more space, then it can be achieved by spending only $300 more.
